Advice from Sri Sri Sathya
Sai Baba & a note by Member of United theosophical lodge Bangalore

:-
Quintessence of Theosophy
Divine
He's a great occultist, and teaches pure Raja
Yoga. Deeply aligned with Theosophical teachings. And, inspires devotion.
I've heard hundreds of his disciples talks and
incidents, and I tell you, only a handful have caught the true spirit of his
teachings and purpose.
Most of them (esp Indians), have a narrow and
damaging view of him, though deeply devoted.
Very few seem to grasp his inner intent and
essence. Of all, I've found one Dr. John Hislop (a westerner, no surprise), who
seems to have understood Baba right.
Western mind is such a wonder. So clear in its logical
approach, comprehending the fundamentals before the peripherals, and
articulating in simple sentences with no unnecessary words.
WQJs article "India a storehouse"
shows how it is the "vigorous, curious" western mind which will
"invade" india again but this time to take its philosophy and
literature.
We Indian can only wallow in our own pride, like
pigs in our sty of heritage and customs.
Hislops understanding of devotion to Baba is so
inspiring. Close to what is mentioned in …..
Baba told Hislop how and why he shouldn't deal
with chakras, and that anything related to pranayama is most dangerous.
